Zakres prac

The design, supply, installation, commissioning of the fire alarm system, maintenance along with the necessary inspections and hand-held fire extinguishing equipment and fire signs, spare parts, training and participation in commissioning was the subject of the contract, concluded between IB Systems and Polimex Mostostal, based in Warsaw. The contract was concluded in May 2016.

During the execution of the aforementioned work, we also received additional orders for further execution areas.

The work started in May 2016 with the Annexes and was completed in September 2019.

‘The two units under construction - each with a gross capacity of 900 MWe - will be fired with hard coal. They will consume annually approx. 4.1 million tonnes of coal. The use of state-of-the-art technology will enable the unit to achieve a net efficiency of approximately 46 % and reduce emissions, including carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 20 % per unit of energy produced. Other basic parameters are as follows:
- steam temperature after the boiler in the range 600 - 620 °C,
- SO2 emissions maximum 100 mg/Nm3,
- NOx emission maximum 80 mg/Nm3,
- dust emissions maximum 10 mg/Nm3.

The new units are designed for 35 years of operation with an installed capacity utilisation time of up to 8,000 hours/year. They will also be adapted to cogeneration of 300 MWth and the possible development of a carbon capture plant, if required (by reserving land and adapting technological solutions).

The area of land to be used for the construction of the new energy sides is approximately 45 ha. The project site has full utilities and convenient access to road and rail infrastructure. [...]’
