IB Systems, commissioned by Mostostal Warszawa S.A., carried out comprehensive teletechnical installations, fire signalling, BMS, instrumentation and control systems together with detailed designs and as-built documentation as part of the investment project entitled, ‘Near-zero-energy building of the Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Management Engineering (WAIWIZ) of Poznań University of Technology.

The scope of work included, among other things:

• fire alarm system
• BMS, instrumentation and control system
• structural cabling installation
• telecommunication ducting
• audio-video systems

"The new building has three overground storeys and a height of 12 metres. There is also one underground storey with a car park. The characteristic (and altogether the only) element of the façade are the vertical rows of windows that ‘pull’ the building upwards. The designer Slawomir Rosolski took care of the investment's ecological qualities. The building is almost zero-energy. Thanks to heat pumps, energy comes from the ground, and thanks to photovoltaic cells, from the sun.
